Armajaro owns and farms a 170 hectare wine producing estate on the foothills of the Paardeberg Mountain in the Paarl District near Cape Town, South Africa. The farm has a wine making tradition spanning three centuries and has a “Dutch Cape” manor house originally built in 1750.

The farm has 40 hectares of vineyards. The principal grape varieties grown on the estate include Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Shiraz, Sauvignon Blanc, Viognier and Chenin Blanc. Wine produced on the estate is marketed throughout South Africa and Europe under the Vondeling label.
