Over the last ten years Vietnam has consolidated its position as the world's second largest producer of coffee after Brazil. Vietnam is the world's largest producer and exporter of Robusta type coffee accounting for circa 40% of global Robusta output.

Armajaro started sourcing coffee in Vietnam in 2003 and in 2005/6 built  a dedicated coffee processing facility, located in Long Thanh District in the province of Dong Nai.  This 10,000 square metre facility which became operational in May 2006, uses the latest technology to process green coffee beans prior to their delivery to coffee roasters around the world.
