Côte d’Ivoire is an important cocoa and coffee origin for Armajaro.  It is the world’s largest producer of cocoa, with over 40% of the world’s production, and is one of Africa's top two producers of Robusta coffee.

Armajaro buys significant quantities of cocoa and Robusta coffee for export via its facilities in the ports of Abidjan and San Pedro.

Armajaro Côte d’Ivoire SA is a licensed exporter and manages all Armajaro's domestic purchases made in Côte d’Ivoire.


Armajaro Côte d’Ivoire SA is also the sole supplier of cocoa in a private public partnership launched in November 2005 to promote sustainable cocoa production certified to Rainforest Alliance standards.  For more information on our sustainability initiatives click here.
